Nose in a Book

I read. A lot. In fact it is not uncommon for me to read a book a day for weeks on end. I have decided to track what I read, and what I think of it on this blog. I may also post reviews of what I have read in the past and of my faavorite authors.

I have recently turned 25 and do not know what I want to be when I grow up. I am new mom, so for now that is my focus. Eventually I will decide on a career but for now it is mommy. Family is very important to me and my husband Patrick is my best friend.

Love You Forever

Love You Forever
Robert Munsch, Firefly, 1986, (children's)

I read this book to Lizzy today and it nearly had me in tears. I am used to Munsch's books being goofy and irreverent but this one was totally sentimental. It was still a good book though. Will I read it again? Yes, but not often. Will I read other Munsch books? Yes!

Well, as a side note I didn't have the book handy while I was writing my review so I went online to find out the publishing details. As soon as I read the story behind this book I started crying, sobbing so loudly that Patrick got out of bed and came down to the basement to see what was wrong. I love Lizzy and I want her to be with me forever.
