Nose in a Book

I read. A lot. In fact it is not uncommon for me to read a book a day for weeks on end. I have decided to track what I read, and what I think of it on this blog. I may also post reviews of what I have read in the past and of my faavorite authors.

I have recently turned 25 and do not know what I want to be when I grow up. I am new mom, so for now that is my focus. Eventually I will decide on a career but for now it is mommy. Family is very important to me and my husband Patrick is my best friend.

Watership Down

Watership Down
Richard Adams, Puffin Books, 1972, (Fiction)

This is one of my all time favorite books. It is a timeless classic that can be enjoyed by any level of reader. You get back what you put into this book. If you read it just to enjoy a story about bunny rabbits you will find it a great story. If you read it to gain an understanding of Richard Adams views on society you will again find it an interesting and thought provoking read. I seem to read it once every couple of years including one time when I read it out loud with Patrick. The only thing I found lacking about this book was the movie based on it.
Would I read it again? Again and again. Would I read something else by Adams? I never have but I would like to.
